New York to HNL ---great price !!!

Just received a "heads-up" from Hawaiian Airlines. Fron NYC to HNL ---$212 each way starting June 4th. (I think taxes are extra.) It is a new route structure for H.A.

Wanted to pass on the info.

Hawaiian Airlines is offering a great deal to*New York City*from*Honolulu from $212 each way. This is in response to their huge announcement of*inaugural service between JFK and*Honolulu this morning. The*daily flights will depart*Honolulu at*3:05 p.m.*and arrives*in JFK at*5:55 am. The return flight departs from JFK at*10:00 a.m. and arrives in*Honolulu at 3:00 p.m. Hawaiian will be using their new Airbus A330 aircraft.

I am so envious. Fares from mid-sized midwestern towns like mine rarely drop below $1,000/RT.
 
The Hawaiian airlines site says it's a nonstop flight. What will that be like 11 hours?

Flights are still left. It's $445.40 roundtrip with taxes & fees from JFK to HNL.

Looks like the following departures dates are still available: 6/5, 6/7 - 6/13 and the return dates are only for 6/25 - 6/28.

Some other dates are also available at a little higher prices $289 one way (instead of $212) but those are also limited.

This is a great deal. I'm so tempted but I already have a trip planned for Feb/Mar ;)
 
We just bought our tickets at $404 round trip each person. We have been talking about a trip to NY for a long time and now finally doing it.
 
we take the continental direct from newark to HNL, great that there is another option for direct flight from this area!!!
