DALLAS, Nov. 1, 2012 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Resort Finance America ("Resort Finance"), a business controlled by Centerbridge Partners, L.P., today announced that it has converted its recently-acquired Park City, Utah property to a timeshare resort and appointed Hilton Grand Vacations to provide sales, marketing and property management services for the resort, which will be known as Sunrise Lodge.

It will be nice to have the option of HGVC in PC. Unfortunately we already had excellent options in Park City with the two Marriott resorts. We'll be in PC this summer so we'll likely drive over to check out HGVC's new offering.

only bummer with the resort is its location. Its at the base of the canyons resort area and park city main and the red rock area are drive to. I think Marriott's 2 locations are the best in Park city, on Main and at the Park city resort. It will be nice to have a club option though,

Even if I don't visit - any expansion outside of LAS or MCO makes my ownership even more valuable.

Keep it going HGVC!

This is very good news as it expands our HGVC options. However, HGVC is taking over this facility with the intent of selling units directly rather than to have us purchase them resale. I purchased all my HGVC units retail. I purchased my one Marriott unit resale. I would think the main reason to purchase in Park City retail would be if you want a good ski week. We do not ski. However, we love the Rockies in the summer.
