Atlantic City Buffets

Apologies, I did a search but only one previous post came up.

We’ll be staying at the Fairway Villas outside Atlantic City. For those of you familiar with those great Casino buffets, can I persuade you to reveal your favorite ones ? We have two pre-teens, so please take them into account.

…and I promise to keep what you tell me a secret...

TIA

Recently, we have eaten buffets at the Showboat and Borgata. Both were good, but I liked the Showboat a little more. At the Showboat, the kids can make their own ice cream sundaes. You can too.

For something fun and different, if you'll be there on a Sunday, try the House of Blues Gospel Brunch at Showboat. It's a bit pricey, but if you can somehow get a discount or get comped, it's not so bad. Decent breakfast buffet and, when I went, great entertainment.

If I want to go to showboat, I think I can get discount from Phila Inquirer. If you know other way, please let me know.

Thanks.

Across the street from Trumps is a FANTASTIC little Dominican diner. Maybe $10-12 for a homemade Carribbean chicken dinner.

Sorry, Frances, but I have no idea how to get a discount. I paid full price, but it was our one big expense down there. We were in Atlantic City for two days for our Bluebeard's Beach Club Homeowners Annual Meeting. Not big gamblers, we didn't blow a wad of money on the slots and instead chose to do this.

Harrah's has a great buffet, a little more pricey than others, but nice atmosphere and a wide variety including seafood, almost like your eating under the ocean. Cool for the kids.
