Are there any reputable companies out there that can actually do what they say????
Has anyone ever heard of Timeshare Exit Team? They are based in the Northwest and also advertise under the name of ReidHeim Travel.

There are plenty of companies that do actual work for the up front fee, but it is rarely something you couldn't have easily done yourself for free.

The outright scam companies are criminal in that they just steal your money and move on to the next victim without ever doing anything else. The slightly more legitimate up front fee companies are generally unethical rather than criminal. They may not transfer title until they find a willing taker, and if they do transfer title it may be to a company where it then gets foreclosed on.

The only safest method, and much cheaper, is to handle it yourself.

What is this company promising you?

anyone who makes amazing promises right before asking you to pay them upfront...should be avoided at all costs.

Timeshare exit team website was created less than FIFTY days ago. Their website doesn't even list a physical address. In an industry swarming with scammers these two facts alone should scare away people from their services.

By the way, an employee of timeshare exit team is registered with TUG under the name REEDHEIN. His self promotion post has been able to stand since February 23rd. Here is the thread:

Wow! I guess the mods do not frequent the Canada forum very often.

mods cant possibly read every post on TUG...if you dont report the post as a violation of the posting guidelines (the little red triangle at the bottom)...admins/moderators wont likely see it.
