Branson advice

We will be in Branson starting May 10 for a week and are interested in live, local music.

I have more info than I need on the "shows" Branson has to offer.

I want to know where the locals go to hear local bands.

We prefer blues but like everything except rap.

Anyone from or familiar with the area that could point me in the right direction?

A local musician here tells be that Springfield should have what I'm looking for so if anyone knows where to go there, let me know.
