Looking at the resort website is confusing. There appear to be extra fees to use the amenities. What's included if I rent a few nights from the resort? We're just looking for something close to home that has a pool. Also, can anyone offer a recent review? The last TUG review is from 2009. Thanks for any input. (This is for summer use.)

If you are renting directly from the resort (not through Wyndham) you pick which level you want. They are all fairly expensive. If you are a Wyndham owner you get a Smuggs Pass which is just about the same as the Simply Smuggs. If you rent from a Wyndham owner you have to go on a tour and then pay a fee around $45 per day for the pass. Otherwise you would get one pool from the area you are staying in included.

There are reviews on there from this year! I just checked the TUG Marketplace, so take a look again. I think you must have clicked on "Mountain Estates at Smugglers Notch". There is one for just "Smugglers Notch Resort" on the list. Mountain Estates are listed separately- just different buildings. I am an owner there for the past 15 years if you have nay questions. I live in Hudson Valley NY.

Thank you both.

I didn't know this was a Wyndham property. Thank you for pointing out the costs involved and tour requirement.

I also found the more current reviews and I agree with the last reviewer who takes issue with the extra fees for the use of amenities. This resort obviously won't work for us.

Thanks again for your input.
