I have read other posts talk about researching sales that have ended to help establish a value from previous sales. Does anyone know how you go about making such a search. I would like to see what eBay sales have been for a certain resort in Branson. Thanks.

Best approach is to search Timeshares for Sale by keyword of your resort. Then put those on a watch list. After a few weeks, you can learn alot about values.

Type in the name of resort in the search box. It will bring up the current auctions if there are any, then go to the left side and click the box for completed listings to look at what auctions have closed the last 30 days.

Limitation

Note that ebay does not allow you to search completed listing by "title and description", it only allows you to search active listings that way.

So put fewer words, not more in your completed listings search. I would even suggest two or three searches. For instance, if you're looking for a specifc timeshare in Las Vegas, you might search "grandview las vegas", or "las vegas timeshare", or search just "las vegas" in the category "timeshares for sale". If you type "Las Vegas Grandview timeshare for sale" and search completed listings, you probably will come up empty.

Has ebay changed their method for looking at completed listings? I searched for the resort I'm interested in, but I don't see the option to view "completed" auctions.

Never mind. I was getting frustrated in my search. As soon as I posted the question, I found the little checkbox for completed.
