Can this be used for PFD?

I have a week at a resort that is converting to points, but we have not done so. We currently have it in RCI as a weeks resort. Can I use it as PFD (we are in the process of closing on a Aussie TS for points)? Or because I *could* convert it, I have to use it as weeks or convert it only?

If the resort is now listed as a Points Resort in the RCI online catlogue you will not be able to use it for PFD. I have a friend with a Celebrity Resort and Celebrity is converting their resorts to being points resorts. He's already been approached to convert and has turned it down, but his individual resort is not yet listed as being a points resort. he was able to use PFD.

That is correct. Since the resort itself has gone to RCI points, the week is NOT eligible for PFD. The only way to get RCI Points for that week would be through a conversion done by the resort.

Unless it is one of the maybe 5 resorts that do not follow this rule.
