Hello,

I purchased PBR via Resale and don't have much information regarding the procedures...

Questions:

Is there an "owners" website for PBR?

Who do you contact for Reservations? I have generally contacted the "Reservations Manager" directly via Email but is there a different way this should be if you are an "owner"?

Any Help Appreciated!!!
thanks...

PB Rose

I own at Sunset and all I do is email my request and they email me back usually within a couple of days.

Email to the reservations manager works well from my experience with Rose and Sunset. I have had some big costs ($50) in the past trying to reserve Mexico stays by telephone--seems I had the wrong phone plan that didn't discount international calls. I promptly changed phone plans...but email is free and easy and my choice in the case of the PB's.

Agree it would be nicer for them to have a web site you can interact with (as some resorts do).

Hello NAZCLK,

I believe I bought my PBR from you??? How are you??? I have a 2006 reservation but I might not be able to use it... Do you happen to know if I can shift the 06 usage to 07?

Is it very difficult to book particular weeks?

If I wanted to book March 2007 can I just email my request and hope for the best? Is there any way of checking availability? Can you book into the sister resorts through the PB directly or through RCI?

You can request a week at your resort 1 year in advance. To use other PB resorts you have to go through RCI where PB owners get priority until 6 months prior to check-in. So in order to go to another PB resort you would have to first have a week deposited with RCI.
This is my understanding after calling the "RCI PB Desk" and asking some questions earlier this week. I'm also trying to learn how the system works.

Yes you did
You can, but you have to bank it with RCI and then trade for next year.

Just an FYI
I have found the people at the PB Owners line at RCI to be most accomodating. Actually the PB owners line is located in Mexico City

We just returned from a 2 week exchange at the PB Emerald Bay.
Beautiful resort! I spoke to several owners that were complaining how difficult it was for them to confirm a week at their own resort. I spoke to owners from PB Emerald Bay that were staying at the PB Mazatlan location.
These owners would take the shuttle to PB Emerald Bay and spend the day.
I confirmed my exchange as a trade through RCI last March.

You're right about the accomidating reps at the RCI PB desk. It was only after talking to them (888 909-4399) that I received the information I was looking for. Previous calls to the regular RCI # were a waste of time. The "desk" being in Mexico explains the hispanic accent that sounded so nice. I was tempted to call back just to listen to her talk. ;)
