Did you have any discounts? Which car rental did you use? Mine is with Alamo and with Dollar I have a full size car on hold for the same price of 234.00. Waiting to see if I can do better before I prepay or commit myself.

It depends when...

The good prices are usually for low demand weeks. Otherwise, you need to get started early in booking your car rental and I have found there is a large swing in prices in rentals from the major companies for the same time period. Regardless, the closer to your rental time the higher the rental price tends to be.

This year we rented 3 weeks (from Presidents' week, week 7, thru March 12, week 9) from Budget for a midsize Malibu for $299 all inclusive. I thought that was quite reasonable.

You might try them. I have gotten at least 1/3 off other rental companies in Key West and Orlando. Yours, Jim
