Help with E Book "electronic codes"

I have 4 United "electronic codes" from purchasing Entertainment books. However, you can only use one code at a time. So, for a party of 4, I have to make each reservation separately.

If you've done this, did you do it online, or did you call United?

I am concerned about being in the middle of making 4 separate reservations and not being able to make all 4 on the same flight.

***Edited to correct name of discount code.

I used the coupons last year for airfare to Hawaii and did it by calling United. They put the seats on hold and had me mail in the coupons.

Let me correct myself - these aren't coupons - the E book calls them "electronic codes" and they email them to you after you purchase a book. You just put them in the code box when you are making your Resv. However, you can only use one per person, so for 4 people, you have to make 4 separate Resv.'s if you do it online.
