OK. I have read through Dave's awesome TUG sticky post on how to sell your timeshare and still have a couple of questions.
1. Our resort charges a $50 fee to change ownership. Does the title transfer company we pick take care of that, or do we do that somehow/sometime?
2. I am thinking about listing our timeshare on ebay. Has anyone used the superlister/title transfer company that you can link to on their help page(Chicago title, I believe it is)? If so, was it a positive experience?
Sorry about these questions. With never doing this before, I want to make sure I get everything right on my end!

For your first question, the answer often is yes. I have had two Marriott transactions handled by closing companies, each of which asked me for the additional $25 that Marriott charges for a transfer.

Each of the closing companies knew exactly where to send the transfer of title notice with a copy of the new title and the $25 to get the transfer changed on Marriott's records.

When using a closing company, simply ask if that's a service that, other than the resort's fee, is included in their services.

Thanks for the quick response!

I appreciate all of your help!
