The two of us have a week coming up at El Moro El Cid, Mazatlan.

My RCI confirmation says, "Prepurchased bus transportation is available both single (Airport-Hotel) & round- trip (airport-hotel-airport) at US$8 and US$12 per person. Credit Card required. To request this service, please call 011 52 669 913 74 01 or by email: mst@mzt.megared.net.mx

Should I book that, or is there a taxi I should prearrange, or do I just look for a cab when we get there?

Just got back from Maz and stayed a week at the El Moro. Don't book anything with them, its just that they (along with everything else in Mexico) is unreliable.

Walk through the airport, do not make eye contact with anyone! LOL. Once you are out you will see the taxis. You shouldn't pay any more or any less than $26 usd. The rates are posted now. If you pay less, you will be at the mercy of a timeshare shark.

If you want to take a van and share with others, I think the cost is $8 usd per person. It takes longer and you will most likely have a timeshare person with you who will delight you with her/his lovely property you must visit! :)
