LETTER FROM KIM KREIGER
In 2013, we welcomed our 200,000th Club Member family, so I hope the New Year is highlighted with vacation plans on the horizon for our ever-growing membership. Your Club off ers exceptional opportunities for travel and exploration in places you have always cherished, and those you’ve always dreamed of visiting.
As we look toward the year ahead, I’m pleased to share that it’s going to be an exciting year of change for Hilton Grand Vacations Club. We have launched a new tagline, which you may have already begun to see and hear: “A vacation state of mind.” I think these five words do a terrific job of capturing the essence of what it means to be a Club Member—if you’re anything like me, you’re always looking toward your next vacation
or cherishing fond memories of your last one. Vivid new imagery and artwork will accompany our brand refresh, and you can learn more about “a vacation state of mind” in our cover story on page 4.
In other big news, this will be the last issue of Grand Times as you’ve come to know it. We’ve published this magazine for more than 10 years and have seen it grow and change, but we feel the time is right to venture into something completely new. During the first quarter of 2014, we’ll begin rolling out an updated suite of Member communications, including a newly formatted magazine. Development for this publication is already underway—and a new name has even been chosen, but I’m keeping that a secret for now. I can tell you that the new magazine will be filled with timely and valuable Club Member information and stories, as well as breathtaking photographs of destinations from around the world. I hope it will continue to inspire you to take that vacation you’ve always longed for.
We’re also developing an expanded email newsletter (arriving soon), and a new online resource focused on travel tips, Member experiences and examples of thoughtful ways you can maximize the benefits of Club Membership. The philosophy behind these new Member communications is simple—there’s so much to share to help you maximize your membership experience.
Please join me in wishing a fond farewell to Grand Times. I look forward to sharing our new publications and ongoing adventures with you throughout the coming year. Here’s hoping 2014 finds you traveling often—and truly experiencing that vacation state of mind.
