Referral Points

I recall hearing one time that if you are the referral for someone who buys a Marriott Timeshare that in addtion to that sale, you get points for any subsequent week they buy.

Do I remember correctly?

My understanding and experience is that you only get the referral points on their initial purchase. They get the referral points on any additional weeks they purchase at a later date.

You are correct, Elden. From the program's T&C:

Only your friends' initial tour or purchase, as applicable, of any Marriott Vacation Club International property will qualify for Marriott Rewards points to be credited to your account.
