$23/week for Standard Car rental FLL

I can't believe it! Going on kayak.com last night I found this deal. I can't believe it. With taxes it brings it up to about $75 for the week of Easter in FLL for a PT Cruiser or similar car. Could Payless tell me that obviously that was a wrong price when I get there? Is Payless that bad a company that they are virtually giving rentals away? I did see on mousesavers that Payless is one fo the compnaies they do not recommend using. What are your thoughts about this? Is it too good to be true? Thanks.

When something seems too good to be true, it probably is. I called Payless to make sure the reservation was accurate. I did not want to lose my current reservation from another company which is at a pretty good price compared to current reservation prices for Easter week. When I called Payless, I was told $23/week was a computer mistake. There is a note on the reservation that says the reservation should read $23/day - with taxes it brings it to over $200 for the week. I asked when Payless was going to notify me of the error. The customer service person became a little snippy and reiterated the change was noted on their reservation sheet. So I guess they would have notified me when I came to pick up the car. Mousesavers was right. Don't go Payless if you don't have to.
