I know that there are policies around not renting cars to young drivers. But do the rental companies also have policies about the maximum age they'll rent to?

My mother is thinking about going on a trip with a friend and she's talking about renting a car. It got me wondering....

As far as I know, most U.S. companies don't have such a restriction. I know for sure that Hertz doesn't.

I know Avis doesn't have that restriction either, but I think Budget has. It's best to call and double check.
