Bus to Acapulco

Would you be so kind and answer my questions? If we fly either to Mexico City or Ixtapa, are there comfortable buses to Acapulco? Can we take the bus from the airport or we have to go to the bus station, if so, how far is it from the airport. What is the cost in US dollars? Do you suggest rental car? If so, is it safe for us to drive and how expensive are rental cars in Mexico?

Bus ok

I took the bus from DF to Acapulco.
Enjoyed the ride, the scenary is nice.
You can get luxury buses with hostess service.
Service is great for the price (though I can´t update you pricewise).

The terminals in DF are ok, but as ever be careful
of pickpockets in any large city - however, the drop
off terminal in Acapulco is not so nice (or ate least the surrounding area)
- so be more careful.

Remember if you are thinking about buying timeshare review
all the info on this site - many words of wisdom are to be found!

Bus to Acapulco from Mexico City or Ixtapa?

Thanks Harpy for your kind reply but what city does Df stand for? Is there a website for the bus ride from Ixtapa or Mexico City so I can find out the actual cost?
