I just successfully submitted a claim with EasyJet Hotels' (www.easyjet.com) double the difference low price guarantee. This was for the Sofitel Athens: 335 euros on EasyJet, 204 on Travelocity. So the hotel will end up costing us 73 euros, quite a steal!
![]() There were a lot of e-mails back and forth because the CSR couldn't seem to pull up the hotel on Travelocity. But replies were prompt, though there was a delay in me getting them due to the time difference (they're based in England I believe). Finally, I saved the search in an html file and sent it to her. If anyone wants to try this, make sure you read the Terms and Conditions, which you can find under the FAQ section. The claim needs to be made within 24 hours of booking the hotel on EasyJet. Rates posted on hotel chain websites not accepted. You need to prepay the EasyJet reservation (there's a cancellation penalty) and the refund is given after the stay. Hope another Tugger gets a good deal! ![]() |
