Just Released Lagoon Tower two bdrm penthouse unit for March 2015

Just cancelled our HGVC reservations at the Lagoon Tower in two bedroom penthouse unit checking in March 14, 2015 for 6 nights using HGVC Points.

I don't see myself going back to the Hilton Hawaiian Village anytime soon.

I know,your current stay has been troubled. I was just wondering if you have had other bad stays at The Lagoon Tower?

It is disappointing to stay in an insect infested unit and the resort cannot offer another unit.

It's a shame because I really like the HGVC point system and the Lagoon Tower room layout & views but I'm just sick and tired of the ongoing housekeeping/maintenance issues at the Lagoon Tower. Every stay, we have to create our list of issues to report.
NOTE: I'm going to create a separate Flickr album of the maintenance/housekeeping issues we've photographed over the years at the Lagoon Tower.

HGVC seems to do the bare minimum. It's very frustrating. We simply don't have this experience with the Four Season Residence Club, Marriott or Starwood. These other hotel based timeshare systems don't seem to rely on guests/owners to indicate what needs to be addressed from a housekeeping/maintenance perspective.
