Has anyone had experience with renting or selling a timeshare through Global Resort Management? I am leary of the company because they want an upfront fee, and because I can't find any information on them, other than their website. They claim they have corporate renters/buyers for the timeshares in the Orlando area. The offer sounds good, but is it too good to be true? I am also unsure how they received our contact information, since we did not have anything listed. Thanks.

You will lose your fee and still own your time

Look at past posts as well as the sticky notes above. Any company asking for a large, (over $50-$75) upfront fee is a ripoff, scam, guaranteed money loser - you pick the term. There are at least 25 posts a week here asking the same question and the real answer never changes. DO NOT use any company asking for an upfront fee.

No exceptions.

Look at ... the sticky notes above.
They are located just above the list of topics for this Buying, Selling, Renting forum. Practical advice on how to sell or rent without getting scammed. And a TUGger recommended list of timeshare resale and rental sites.
