Logan Airport Stay and Park Info
Does anyone know of a hotel/motel in the vicinity of Logan Airport where you can stay overnight and leave your car with them while you are gone and they shuttle you to and from the airport similar to what is offered at hotels in the Bradley Airport area? If not, what options are available for long-term parking? Any help will be most appreciated.
Thanks, Betty |

The Holiday Inn offers this service. The hotel is located about a mile from the airport. Economy parking at the airport is around $100/week. Dick Taylor |

Re: Logan Airport Stay and Park Info
Dick,
I need a little clarification. The $100 you quoted...is that what the hotel charges for parking plus room cost, or is that at a totally different parking facility having nothing to do with the Holiday Inn?...and if so, do you know the name of the parking facility? Thanks, Betty |

Re: Logan Airport Stay and Park Info
Betty -
Here is the Holiday Inn info - free parking for up to 10 days. Note the $249 nightly rate, not a bargain, just for parking! The economy parking Dick refers to is long-term parking provided by the airport. Here is the info, including rates. |

Yes, Dave is correct that the cost for a week of parking at one of the airport's long-term parking lots was what I was referring to with the $100 figure - and his link shows that the actual price is $96 with incremental cost for going over a 7 day period. The Holiday Inn charge for park and stay is indeed high compared with rates of hotels providing this type of service in places like Hartford CT and Manchester NH, but there's not a lot of open parking space at hotels around the Logan area. Usually, when I fly out of Boston on vacation we find a low cost Priceline hotel in southern New Hampshire or in the Peabody - Wakefield area for the night before the flight and then park at the airport because it turns out to be cheaper for us. I love the Holiday Inn there and get good prices on www.stay123.com
It is a very nice place to stay with good food. Beware-- other cheaper hotels do not offer 24-hour shuttle service and holiday inn does, if that is an issue. Some only offer it from say, 6 am to midnight |
