need help quick-myrtle beach-developer purchase

Just had a co-worker call from myrtle beach-they fell into the developer trap of a purchase of a every other week at the westgate myrtle beach oceanfront resort for 10,000$ ..now they want to back out and they are telling her that it will be very expensive to back-out.they just bought today 5/2/06.they said according to s.c. law that they are responsible for closing cost.the contract says they have five days to reconsider the purchsae.but they are playing hard ball with them.I cant even find this resort to let them know if this is a good purchase or not ---any info is greatly appreciated p.s. need advice quickly. thanx, jim
