Hyannis Restaurant Recommendations?

I'll be in Hyannis over Mother's Day weekend (Sheraton 4 Points), and am looking for a nice seafood restaurant for dinner on Saturday night that will be open for the season already. Up to 1/2 hour drive would be fine, although as I recall there's a nice looking place right across the street from the Sheraton--Yankee Peddler, maybe? I was hoping for something on the water, but don't know if it's too early in the year.

TIA!

Re: Hyannis Restaurant Recommendations?

In Hyannis a good restaurant with water view is The Black Cat. It has excellent food, you may also like Tug Boats and even Spanky's Clam Shack. For a more "formal" dinner go to the Paddock, no water view but excellent food and has been around for more than the 20 years I've lived on the Cape.

The Paddock is, I think, is the one I was thinking of by the hotel. Spanky's does have terrific food, but I'm already planning on getting take-out lunch there. Maybe we'll give the Black Cat a try--thanks!

Re: Hyannis Restaurant Recommendations?

I like Clancy's in Hyannis and the 2 in Dennis (one may not yet be open). The one that probably is open in Dennis has a water view the one in Hyannis or very close to Hyannis is definitely open.
