Re: Pollard Brook, NH

309 is above the lobby on the third floor. I haven't stayed there since InnSeasons took over, but I stopped by and looked at the new building and units last summer. In the past there has always been activities going on at the resort, including light dinners and even an ice cream social. I haven't stayed in the original building, but all the other units were nice. We were to stay there on our last exchange, but were reassigned at check in to the newest building (not by our request). Lincoln and the area have a lot of things to do, so you may be spending much of the time away from the resort. Clark's Trading post is on my suggestion list as an attraction not to be missed for all ages (don't miss the bear show). If I got my pick of any White Mountain area resort to stay at (and I have stayed at a few) it would be Pollard Brook.

We stayed at Pollard Brook last month and got a unit in the newer building. It was very nice. It was off season and they still had alot going on for the kids. PB is a 5 Star Resort and I'd say it lived up to that as far as cleanliness and friendiness of the staff. We usually do our own thing and don't particpate in the activities at the resort but the Activities Director was very friendly and most of the planned activities seemed to have 100% participation. I agree, if you stay in the White Mountains, Pollard Brook is the place to stay. You are right in town with restaurants, grocery and convenience stores. etc. We've also stayed at Steele Hill but it's quite a ride in/out of the place to civilization.

Thanks for the info. Is it true there are no elevators in the buildings?

Re: Pollard Brook, NH

We stayed at Pollard Brook with our grandkids a few years ago and thoroughly loved it. "Storyland" is a bit of a drive (though a beautiful one) that kids of that age love.

Re: Pollard Brook, NH

I'm not certain, but the building 309 is in may have one, the building behind it does( or did), but the new buildings do not. The new buildings are four floors with the rear entry on the 2 or 2-1/2 floor level, so there is only 2 floors up or down to the entry door level.

Re: Pollard Brook, NH

We're leaving this Saturday to stay at Pollard Brook for a week. I'll post when we get back how it was or pm me and I'll fill you in. We're going a little early for many things, wanted to go on the railroads. It's also bike week. Should be interesting!
