Question Virgina Beach in October?

Is Virgina Beach a nice place to be in October or is that to late in the season? If it is not to late where is the best place to purchase a TS?

Re: Virgina Beach in October?

The "season" officially ends on Labor Day weekend. The weather usually remains nice throughout the month, but the water is starting to cool down and you might not want to swim. This is not always the case, though. I have been up to my waist, surf fishing, on Thanksgiving weekend. If you are talking about the end of the month, you might want to be prepared for cold tempertures. In the past, I had taken my kids Trick-or-Treating in shirtsleeves, some times, and winter coats on others. The leaves usually start coloring up about the third week of Oct.
Sorry, I can't help on TS's, when I lived up there I didn't want anything close by, so I didn't look at any of them. I did stay at The Four Sails once after we moved. I won't do that one again.

I just noticed you're from NH. Forget what I said about the water being cool. It'll probably still be as warm as it gets up there during the summer.

Re: Virgina Beach in October?

best place to purchase is up to interpretation. Best for me might be hated by you.

You will receive the best advice if you provide when, where, how often, what kind of experience, how many in your party, etc etc

Are you buying to use or trade? Are you committed to fix week, float, points, what?

Fill in the blanks and you will get great input!
