My wife, family and I will be returning to OLCC in July on a week we purchased in 2004 as part of their lattitudes program. We spent $1,000 for this week, so plan to make good use of it. At the time in 2004, we traded into OLCC and were very impressed with the property. We were new to TS, and they applied a very hard sell when we went for the presentation. After 3 1/2 hours, we agreed to buy the lattitudes program just to get out of there.
The lattitudes program allows us to stay in one of the newest 2BD units in the back of the property, and we reserved 2004 pricing yo buy 2 or 3 BR units. The problem is that since 2004 we have discovered resale properties, and recently bought sufficient Fairfield points to cover our TS needs for the foreseeable future.
My question is whether anyone has been on a lattitudes visit to OLCC recently. How bad will the hard sell be this time? Is there a way to get maximum value for the money we spent for this program, even though we will not be buying a TS unit?
I know we will have a good time at OLCC because we like th property. I look at the $1,000 like a rent fee, so while it is overpriced, I can live with it. I just want to avoid being pushed around at the sales presentation, and I want to get whatever additional value I can for what I have paid. Any tips or ideas are greatly appreciated.
