Have you ever used one? Is there a catch?

Re: Marriott Bonus Bucks
Used one last May for the first time with no catch. You are suppossed to call the special 800# on the certificate for pricing. It can be slightly higher than the online price.
I booked online and called the resort direct and told them I was using a BB cert. Suggest you call the resort first and have them notate that you are using the BB cert then have them fax a copy of the hotel reservation with that notated before you check in. We were also lucky enough to be upgraded to Platinum and got the complimentary breakfast. There is a special Marriott has right now to earn a cert. 50.00 for a 1 night stay and 100.00 for a 2 night stay within a certain time period. www.marriott.com Look under specials.

Re: Marriott Bonus Bucks
Can you use these for incidentals (restaurant, etc) if you booked a Marriott Hotel using Marriott T/S points?
