Newport, RI questions

We will be in Newport this holiday weekend and we are looking for suggestions for a good place to start the day with a hearthy breakfast. Also I may as well ask about a place to have lunch. we will be staying at the Faifield at Long Wharf. I think we are set for dinner. Thanks

The Marriott right next door has a good breakfast buffet.

The Black Pearl has a great lobster salad on their lunch menu. It's our favorite place for lunch when we are in Newport.

For luncheonette-type atmosphere and portuguese-american influence, I'd suggest Handy Lunch on Thames Street

Re: Newport, RI questions

Benjamin's is good for breakfast ~ and The Wharf Pub on Bannister's Wharf is great for both lunch or dinner.

BTW ~ Have a great weekend !!
