Southwest open till Oct 27!

I need a returning flight on October 28 (or 29)... What should I do, book one way and wait until next time slot becomes available?
I think I will just wait, October should have some discounted fares and Soutwest is right now not that much cheaper then average rate....

DorotaG, that's what I did. I need a return 10/30, so I just booked the outbound flight yesterday, and will wait to book the return when it opens up. Thankfully, SWA's fares are the same for 2 one-ways as for a round trip.

Camachinist, I guess I don't understand what you posted. What's the significance, if SWA won't sell us a ticket?

It's significant to those of us who track fare trends and peruse options to our primary carrier. IOW, if you could book the same one-way inbound flight on another carrier for the outbound price and could do it right now, would you?

That's why I posted the list. Possibilities... That and I've never seen anyone else post WN's future fares. That's important, as their fuel hedges are largely gone and I expect to see upticks in their fare structure. I'm quantifying my hypothesis....
