travel Certificate

I have a paper $200 "Discount Travel Certificate from UAL from Customer Service due to a problem which occurred on one of my flights. It is good for all classes of service and all seat types including S and T. My question is: How do I redeem it? Can I still book On-line? It does appear to be redeemable by mail. Also can I use it with my 1000 mile upgrade in Y or C class?

Every airline is different. I would suggest you call United and ask them directly.
