Hello --

Are there any VI owners or knowledgeable people out there who know what VI points are selling for?

I have 81 points expiring 2028 and would appreciate any information or suggestions of where to look for valuations.

Searching for Vacation Internationale on eBay results in no hits.

Thanks for any help.

There is a website for a company which specializes in selling VI, their website is Hiseason.com They are asking about < $35/pt for most packages.

Hi Bill --

Thanks for the lead. I like that point value better!

I just contacted triwest-timeshare.com re: sale of my points. The contact says the price range is $17-20 / point. Their commission is 15%, or $2000 minimum!

Hi Bill --

I talked to Mike, at Hiseason. He offered me $1,000 for 81 points, saying that 91 or more is the point size in which they are interested. In addition, there are many others wanting to sell.

This offer included the timebanked and annual points, plus the remainder interest!

So, it turned out not be such a good investment, at $90/point in 1988.

Well that shows you how Hiseason makes their money buy at $12/pt and sell at $30 /pt

As far as selling these pts, I'd find a friend who does some selling on Ebay and sell them there. Start with a low reserve like $500 but I'd bet you'll sell them for >$20/ pt maybe as much as $30.

Remember that the quality of your ad will greatly effect the price you'll get. So look at other ads for TS and copy their ideas. If you can't produce a good looking ad, you may not even sell at $500.

Good Luck
