Innseason resorts, points system
I'm currently a deeded week owner at Innseason Resorts The Falls at Ogunquit. They have switched to a points system instead of the deeded weeks. They will convert deeded weeks for a charge, about $3000. Are conversion cost negotiable? Since I own a green week would the points be more valuable for trading with II? Is it worth the cost to convert? I'm in the process of buying a second deeded week at the resort through the resale market. What savings wish I knew before I bought the first week. If I turn both weeks into points is it 1 or 2 charges? Any other Innseason owners out there thinking of converting?

I own red 2 bedroom at InnSeason Captain's Quarters (CQS). I would never convert to InnSeason points even for free. You have to understand, it is not Interval points (such doesn't exist), it is InnSeason points. You would have access to a very limited off season inventory. Most of the InnSeason resorts were sold out as fixed weeks. Red weeks owners are happy with what they have (and paid already enough) and unlikely to convert. The two new resorts that are sold as points would require much more points than you would get for your low season week.

Re: Innseason resorts, points system
Thanks Vicky thats sounds much more practicle than what a salesman would pitch. I'm at the Falls and think it's the same situation there. Pollard Brook is forever expanding and would be the only place not heavily deeded. Since I use my green week to trade with Interval I'm better off with that. The second week I'm purchasing will be the one I use to stay at the Falls.
