Want to go to an Orioles game on the way to Wmsbrg--looking for info!
We want to stop in Baltimore to see an Orioles game on the way to Williamsburg.
We have never been before. Any suggestions for hotels or areas of Baltimore to stay in? A hotel less than 30 minutes from the park (and perhaps enroute to Wmsbrg for the next day) would be ideal! Thanks! |

Lots of nice hotels in the Inner Harbor area within walking distance to Camden Yards. At less cost, most chains are represented in the area around BWI airport that is less than 30 minutes to the ballpark and on the way down I-95 to Wmbg. What day are you planning to see a game?

I would say the Inner Harbor is by far the best place to stay in Baltimore--comparatively safe and most of the attractions are right close by. We got an excellent deal on Priceline for the Renaissance in August if you can go that route, btw.
You have to pay for parking but there are garages that are pretty reasonable. I remember there's one opposite the Wyndham Inner Harbor (not the greatest location, a bit outer for the Inner Harbor, if you ask me!) that the doormen directed us to. It was about half the price that the Wyndham was asking for parking. |

Thanks for the info. I know some of the ballparks we have been to are not in the safest neighborhoods right around the park, so it's good to know that we can stay close by!
We can get a really good rate at Marriott Inner Harbour at Camden Yards. It looks nice on the website. Anyone know this place? Thanks! |

We used to go to a couple of Orioles games a year and stayed at the Marriott across from the ballpark most of the time. There is now a newer Marriott and a Courtyard, but they are farther away. If you can get the one near the ballpark, it would be a good choice.
Nancy ps. I don't know how nice the rooms are now as it's been probably 4 or 5 years since I've stayed there. At that time some needed refurbishing, but were still okay. |
