Going to this resort of the first time. Is there a specific section/units that I should request for?

For example: closest to the pool.
best view
newly refurbished units/section

you can call and find out which unit is on your reservation. I do not care for the #1 bldg (5100). But all others aer pretty much the same. WE prefer bldg 5 (5500), b/c it is right across from the big pool. But it is a very compact place, and really no "bad" areas. bldg #1 is 3 stories, older bldg with lots of stairs if you have the 3 BR (1.5 flight up and then anoher flight to 3rd BR). And it is the farthest from the pool. Some love this bldg b/c it is s low-rise.

I prefer the newer 4 story bldgs with coeverd parking, elevators and all BRs on 1 level.

It is a very nice resort--you will enjoy it. If going in cooler seasons, the smaller pool by bldg 7 and 8 is heated.

Building 8 was in near new condition when we were there in July, 2004. It has a good sized pool right outside the elevator door. If you need a kiddie pool, you should not ask for building 8, though. It's a bit of a trek through gator country
