ttimeshareman or svacationman on ebay

Anyone buy anything from either of these guys? They seem to be the same guy as listings are identical and so is the closing company. Watching one of his properties and would love any input anyone can give.

I have purchased twice from Svacationman. He uses Timeshare freedom ( Tammy) who does an efficient job on the closing.

svacationman on eBay

I bought once from Svacationman, the week wasn't quite as listed, I wanted out of the purchase and he was a gentlemen about, got a prompt refund, so I give him a AAA rating.

Bought An eBay Timeshare In 2003 From Svacationman.

It was a great deal -- because he goofed up his eBay listing, naming 1 timeshare in the auction title but describing & illustrating a different timeshare in the pictures & reading material of his detailed eBay item description.

After minimal research, we were able to figure out the identity of the other timeshare & decided we'd be happy with either 1, so we went ahead & bid just like we knew what we were doing.

When the dust settled, the eBay timeshare turned out to be the very resort we wanted, & we were plenty satisfied with the price we paid via our snipe-in last-minute winning bid.

All I can figure is that eBay lookers were put off by the garbled listing and refrained from bidding, otherwise it would have sold for more.

Out of curiosity, we looked up our deed on the official Orange County FL real estate records search web site. There it was, showing as the "consideration" the exact amount of our winning bid.

Then we looked up Svacationman's earlier deed for the same unit & week at that resort -- & sure enough, the prior deed was there too, showing $100 as the "consideration" Svacationman paid to the previous owners.

So the real question is, how do Svacationman & the other eBay timeshare resellers get hold of deeds to desirable timeshare weeks like that for only $100 ?

One way is to hold meetings and get people to 'give' you their t/s so they won't have to pay m/f anymore. They can also do mass mailings. Many people want to get rid of those pesky m/f. Their was a long thread awhile back about some unethical practices going on and preying on old folks. I don't remember the names of the accused.

That's a powerful site! was able to see and remind myself of two good ebay purchases similar in condition to Alan's, where the listing did not accurately describe what was being sold, but I knew what it was. Large SunOptions contracts that ended up at 12.7cents and 16cents per SunOption, even better deals because both came with current year use that was not advertised and therefore no current year MFs were connected ... those 'free' points were rented for more than the purchase price!

Whoa!

Do you suppose operators like SVacationman who get hold of timeshare deeds for $100 are scamming old folks out of their timeshares in order to resell'm to people like me on eBay?

I sure hope that's not happening -- I like getting bargains, but not as a result of swindles against other people.

Shucks, I'm old folks myself -- pushing 64 -- so pretty soon the scammers will have me in their sights, if they don't have me there already.
