Question Hilton Head-Ground Trans to Savannah airport?

Anybody know how to get ground transportation other than taxi which surely must be very expensive? Do any resorts offer ground transport to the internatl airport outside Savannah? Thanks in advance for any tips for the car-less!

Re: Hilton Head-Ground Trans to Savannah airport?

The taxi fare from SAV to HHI is $75, plus $10 for every passenger above two.

There are several limo/shuttle companies. The prices are typically around $40 one-way or $65 round-trip for each person, with a small discount for second and additional passengers traveling and paying together. Grayline Low Country Adventures is an example. (Fares are quoted in the FAQ section.)

In each case, gratuities are extra.

However, if you're planning to stay on HHI for more than a day or two, you should definitely have your own car. There is no decent public transportation on the island and getting to restaurants and other activities from any resort will necessitate frequent use of a vehicle.

I missed that question.

Some of the resorts, especially major hotels such as the Westin, have free shuttle service in the immediate vicinity (such as to HHI's airport), but not to and from SAV.

Thanks everyone! Not cheap as I guessed. Renting a car might be cheaper eh?
