Cool Here is the Alamo Coupon Code

Ok, so we are scheduled to leave for Aruba in the AM. This is the Alamo coupon that I forgot to post on TUG. I'm not sure if this should be placed here or on the Travel Board.

I'm glad to help lower the rental car cost to all Tuggers. Here is the coupon code from the NEA (Nat'l Educ Asso):

Alamo:

I.D. Number 7012997 (25% off )

Coupon Code: FK4B (One Free Day)

Coupon Code: D06C ($15.00 off Midsize though Sport Vehicle in US, Canada, Latin Amer, or the Caribbean )

All codes are valid through 12/31/2006. * Be sure to request the ID and coupon code if it applies to your rental.

The ID # above only gave me 10% off.

I am so sorry to hear about the 10%. Maybe the 25% applies to certain areas, but it should not make a difference, I guess. I know that the coupon landed us a car in Aruba for $139.00. The cheapest I could find without it was $175.00.

Happy and Safe travels to all.

Haj,

What size car did you book?
I'm going to Aruba over Thanksgiving for a week, Alamo website with no codes shows $143 for a compact, most of your codes are for midsize or larger and they only come down to $139 which is a rate you quoted.

Going thru Costco gives $139 for a compact.

Using codes in the entertainment book coupon I get the compact down to $125.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe our car is an economy since only two of us are traveling this trip.

Safe travels to all.

Well then, get yourself a coupon from the Entertainment book to save about $15 more, each book has two or three of them!

I was able to get the Toyota Yaris compact 4 door auto with air for Sept. Aruba trip for $137.70 per week on the Alamo website. Just prior to leaving I plan to prepay and save another 10 percent. I am waiting until just before we leave as I don't want to have charges on credit card any earlier than necesary.
