They are putting in high speed internet at the Galleon. Don't know what, if any, the charge will be. Talked to one desk person in lobby. He thought it would be free. He also mentioned the charge for local calls may be dropped. I told him I wasn't too happy about the local phone call charges- 50 cents for the first 15 minutes, 50 cents per minute after the first 15 minutes. I told him I could use my dial up minutes(earthlink) with a local access number, but I would not pay their excessive charge. I think if more people complained about the local phone fee, it would be dropped.
