Hotel needed close to Minneapolis airport

DH & DS are flying from RSW to Minneapolis/St. Paul on October 14 and heading to Clear Lake SD for a week of pheasant hunting. Watertown/Clear Lake, is straight west of the airport. Looks like they can pick up I-494 to Rt. 212 and head west, then pick up some other road.

Would appreciate info on any motel's along this route. We usually go for Sleep Inn's, Comfort, Days Inn..or something in that price range. They will need the motel for the night of the 14th (they get in around 8:30 p.m.) and on the 20th they leave around 10:00 a.m., so something fairly close to the airport, but not AT the airport would work. TIA.

I stayed there last year near the airport and it was either a Hampton Inn or a Hilton Garden. Go to the Hilton site and do a search. Good luck.

Eden Prairie is the city at the junction of 494 and 212. It's about 15 minutes from the airport. There are several good suite hotels at that junction - Marriott, Radisson etc. I did a search on Expedia and found several in the $89-$99 range with kitchens.
