Sunterra Powhatan handicap request phone number
I made a reservation using my Getravelop Account and need the handicap request phone number since I can't see my confiirmation online with it.
Also I screwed up because now The Extra Vacation are cheaper with RCI. If I only waited a week I would have saved big time. Daniel northovr@verizon.net |

Call the resort 888-224-7762 during working hours and ask for the reservations department. They may or may not be able to help you, there aren't any handicap units per se, there are downstairs units that they can accommodate but chnaces are you've booked an upstairs unit.

Good luck
Idon't think they even pay attention to the requests, which by the way are done by leaving a message on a recording. We had a RCI exchange for a 4 bedroom unit....not 2 exchanges. Both the C and D units were deposited together. I called that line (same number as resort) and was directed tothe automated recording line. I requested that we be in a treed area and also possibly a refurbished bldg. When we arrived we were told that we were in 2 D units in separate areas of the resort. We absolutely needed a ground level unit and I did not request that since we had both floors.......well, I said, we are a family and we will not be separated and also that this was deposited as one trade and that's what we got. The line was long, most people were getting D units (second floor) unless they were Sunterra owners of folks there on a promotion. This was in July. They did finally "find" a C/D lock/out which was not refurbished, in fact was not in great shape. I think I am finally done with Powhattan. Always loved this resort, so charming, but their tactics are terrible and the units are way past needing refurbished. While we were there, we had an electrical problem one night and I called and insisted on a maintenance man immediately as I was aware of the fire months ago and I told them that. They said they knew nothing about any fires!!! Maintenance did come. It was okay. We had our grandchildren with us and I guess I was especially nervous about the wiring, etc. Anyway, most of the bldgs are now old and tired and their staff is just okay. At any rate, that is the first resort we put a request in that could have cared less if we were taken care of. Just returned from Oak and Spruce and just the opposite. They went out of their way to accomodate everything we needed or requested. Great little resort. so good luck with Powhatan. ![]() |

Club Sunterra members can reserve as 4BR or 2BR and the type of 2BR is designated when they make the reservation, if you wait too long, all the groundfloor 'C' units are gone. As a general rule, they keep their inventories separate and all RCI deposits go to RCI exchangers but I'm sure exceptions are/can be made. |

So what happened Why did they change her reservation for a complete 4 bedroom unit to two upstairs at first. I guess I have been lucky everytime I called that recording number I received a first floor unit. This time I especially need one. So shoud I email these people and request one. What would be the best solution? Daniel ![]() |
