When my computer had to be reformatted back in the spring, everything was erased.
I have the original installation disk and the manual, but seem to not have the serial number.
Do I have any recourse if I want to reinstall this on my computer??

Have you checked to be sure the serial number is not printed in the manual. Inside front or back cover or possibly on the outside of the back cover. Also is the CD in its orignal case because a lot of softwares print the serial number on a label on the case.

If all else fails if you registered it with Adobe when you purchased and installed, maybe they will supply you with it.

Hope that helps,
Dale

I NOW write the serial numbers on the disks with a Sharpie. I looked in the manul, and it is not there. Maybe I can call them.

If you registered with them when you purchased it they should have you in their database.

Adobe normally puts their serial numbers on white stickers affixed to the disk jewel case.
