Go Daddy web hosting and other services...

I have just about completed building my website, and plan to get it on the web real soon hopefully. The authors of a book I utilized to assist me with building the site utilize Network Solutions to host their sites. Last night, I went on a website that promoted GoDaddy. You can register domains, build web sites, subscribe to web hosting and other services. Anyone utilize GoDaddy for web hosting? If you have a web site, do you like the company that hosts your site? I'll probably sign up for a year, so I would like to make a good choice. Any opinions or suggestions? Thanks!

You may want to spend some time at http://www.webhostingtalk.com/ - it's a vBulletin-based forum dedicated to discussing web hosting. We did most of our research there (and on the vBulletin support board) before we found our current host.

A little extra time spent in research now can save you lots of trouble down the line.

I use godaddy exclusively.

This is not going to be a major website like TUG...at least I don't think so! I just decided to have a website I could refer folks to who are interested in renting or buying my timeshares and possibly pickup some other traffic along the way. I do like the idea of reliable and cheap. Thanks again, guys!

Who do you use as your home internet service provider? Most ISP accounts inclunde some webspace at no additional charge.

That's what I've done with my rentals and sales.

I create a web page at my personal web space on comcast.net, and then link to that page in my ads.
