How close are Cypress Pointe and Cypress Pointe Grande Villas in Orlando?
I have a couple of units booked for Cypress Pointe next year and want to add another family.
The only units available for that week are at Grande Villas.
Will they feel seperated or feel like they are in the same resort?
Thanks in advance.

Sister Resorts Right Across The Street From Each Other.

Every time we've been at Cypress Pointe (Phase I) or The Grandevillas (Phase II) the overall "feel" was more like 1 big resort than 2 completely separate timeshares. They are separate & distinct, but both use the same check-in desk (in the Phase I clubhouse) & they share facilities & amenities -- pools, workout room, game room, etc.

They are literally right across the street from each other. On the map, Cypress Pointe Resort is on Treasure Cay Lane & Cypress Pointe Grandevillas is on Turtle Cay Circle. With the map showing, click on Satellite View to see how the resorts & condo buildings are arranged. Phase I & Phase II are the buildings with the white roofs.

We'll be there next week -- checking in Saturday night at Phase I.

It's all one happy family

As Alan said the two resorts are effectively one as far as the guest is concerned. Only the building heights and unit layouts/features/age are different. Having units at both resorts gives you a chance to see the unit differences up close. Then you can do a review that compares them. It is such a common inquiry that reviews with comparisons would be quite valuable to future guests.

Having stayed at Grandvillas twice, I think the guests will be fine. They shouln't feel like they are seperated. The resorts are across a road from each other and actually have a cozy feel to them. When we stay at Grandvillas, we take our walks thru both resorts without missing a beat.

Thanks for the help.
I went ahead and booked the extra rooms.
We now have a BIG group going next year.

Al
