Which Capital One card?

I am thinking about getting a Capital One card to use in Mexico to avoid the 3% exchange fee my other card charges.
Has anyone used one in Mexico?
Is there anything that I should be concerned about that I might not be thinking about?

I just got one too, for the same reason. I opted for the CASH back rather than the miles.

Thanks!

Thanks, I am considering the same one. Did it take long to get it?

We used our Capital One card with no problems in Cancun. I did call them and tell them our travel dates though.
Another tip from Tuggers I hadn't considered.

I applied online and got the card within a week. I just used it to order flowers for someone in England and the exchange rate was the same as the going rate - no add ons that I can see. So far so good

What number did you call to let them know you would be in Cancun? I can never get a person to speak to there!

I am sure I used the number on the back of the card. I can't recall ever having trouble getting thru to speak to someone. You could also try looking online for another number. Sorry I can't be more help.

This is a website where one can get a human at many companies. Thought I'd pass it on.
