"wet ones" allowed in airline carryon?
I would like to take a travel size (15 sheets) of wet-ones on an upcoming flight but can't seem to find out whether or not they're allowed. I read the entire TSA webpage about the current rules but don't find them mentioned.
Worst case is I'll have to throw them away at security but was wondering if anyone knew for certain. Thanks! |

Wet Ones
Not sure here but we talked to some people that flew from Europe to Las Vegas just the other day and they were not allowed for them. I know they are way stricter then we are here. When we flew we never saw or heard them question anyone here about them. We were asked about liquids and one women had to get rid of her liquid make-up.
Hope this helps. Bart

I travel with them all the time, and never had a problem with them domestically, even when all liquids were banned from carry ons.

I carry them in my purse and have had no problems but I have not flown international lately. I don't think they will be a problem at US airports--at least they haven't been for me. They may be damp, but are hardly a liquid.

Thanks, all. It's a domestic flight so sounds like it won't be a problem. I figured you couldn't squeeze 3 oz of liquid out of them but you never know what may be banned!

I suspect it will depend on who does the inspecting. My wife had some nail polish remover pads (same type thing, soaked pads in a foil pouch) and they made her throw them away. Sometimes it's the luck of the draw in who you get as an inspector.
