Existing exchanges

Does anyone know if the 1 in 4 year rule applies if the resort starts it after you already exchanged into it? In other words, we stayed at Cottages last year. Then we exchanged into it for the upcoming year. Now, they have placed a restriction on exchanges for 1 in 4 year rule. This restriction was not on it when we did the initial exchange. Will we still be able to use our week we confirmed?

Not sure I'd count on that.

I would definitely check with the resort and try to get something in writing if they say you're OK.
