Ballys and Angel's Golf course in Vegas

What is Ballys in Vegas like? Are the rooms nice? Is it smoky?
We will be staying there for 3 days later this month.
We have no choice where to stay (long story).
We are not interested in gambling.
I know the location and thought we could get there via Koval and avoid driving on The Strip?

Also..
Is anyone familiar with Angel's Golf Course in Vegas?

We have been in several casinos in Vegas and know that each one has it's own character.

When I was in Vegas in 2005, I played a course called
"Angel Park". It had a regulation 18-hole course (in fact it may have had 36 holes)---but the one I played was a 12-hole course!!! (mostly short holes----it was my first day of golf in months; hence I used it as a warm-up round.)
The entire facility looked nice.

Is this the course you were referring to?

Yes, that the is golf course to which I was referring. We are helping with a fundraiser for Guide Dogs of America at that golf course in mid-November and just wondered what it was like.

Two different sets of friends stayed at Bally's within the last month. They both said the rooms were very nice. Linda
