Best time to call United?
Hey - I am trying to redeem some FF miles for an open jaw ticket and I have tried talking to the customer service reps at the Mileage Plus 888 number. Each time I have called, I have been connected to a foreign call center and had extreme difficulty in understanding the rep. Does anyone know the best time to call when I might be connected to the US call center?
Thanks! Sara Last edited by purple : November 7, 2006 at 01:12 AM. |

hmmm
You don't get connected to a US call center when you fly domestic. India is a fact of life and for the life of me I can't understand what UAL thinks they are saving here because they often lose my business if I have to talk to India first. It took me 5 minutes to realize that a sir'tifikate' was indeed a certificate. There are ways around the indians, however. Check out flyertalk.

After being cut off when trying to ticket the reservation I had on hold, I called back (5th call). I must have accidentally
pushed the button for international reservations and got a very efficient agent who took care of the ticketing and got us the seats. All done!Sara |
