We are going to Gettysburg & Hershey over the THanksgiving HOliday. I have a 10 yr old daughter and 4 adults going.
I need suggestions on where to eat in Gettysburg. I would like an historic restaurant, but I need good food and not real expensive. I have planned on doing the electric map in Gettysburg and then doing a guided tour with a personal guide. But any other "must do's" in Gettsburg? Also I need suggestions to keep us busy for one day in Hershey. I was thinking of doing the chocolate factory tour, but that doesn't take that long. Then maybe ( depending on weather) doing the Christmas thing at Hershey park. Thank you in advance for any advice. |

Hi,
We live in Middletown, Pa, which is like 10 minutes from Hershey Park. Their Christmas celebration is great, your 10 year old will love it. Lots to see & lots of rides to ride. We take our children every year, have fun & enjoy. Their is also something that Hershey offers that they just started which is called Sweet Lights. It is really pretty neat. It is a drive thru which has thousands of lights & Christmas music playing. Reminds you of the old times. I would highly recommend this. It is right across the highway from Hershey Park. If you have any other questions, please feel free to email me at any time. Bonnie Johnston |
